Ep 98: Meet Nino Augustine

EWe're super hype to have Nino Augustine on the show this week, whose fire tracks fueled our days at the beach this summer and are warming us up now. Ep 97: Mucho Mucho Amor

EAn icon left his earthly existence this week, and we're taking a moment to honor his incredible legacy. Walter Mercado was a staple in many Latinx households and a part of millions of people's spiritual lives through his horoscopes. We were incredibly inspired by his opulent style (those capes!!!) and his expansive approach to gender and gender norms, so we wanted to rendir homenaje. In this episode we bring songs inspired by his fabulous life - including a track from his little known salsero moment! - and we go deep on our own relationships to Walter and astrology. Featuring music by Maye, Walter Mercado, Mediopicky, Villano Antillano, Karlos Rosé and Kevvo. Ep 96: Soundtrack De La Lucha

EThese are the songs that keep us going when the fight gets hard, that bring us joy when things are difficult, the songs that make el trabajo político fun. We just came back from Mijente's Sazonblea, and we're feeling the love from being part of a political home. We asked our compas attending the gathering about the music fueling their political work, and they delivered an incredible playlist for the movement. Featuring music by Luis Enrique, La Santa Cecilia, Daddy Yankee, Bad Bunny, Natanael Cano, Hector Lavoe, La Banda del Mango, Susana Baca, Arcangel, Hole, Vladi, Plena Combativa and DJ Lauuh.
