The symposium was organized in conjunction withExhibitionism: 50 Years of The Museum at FIT, which commemorated the rich history of the museum, the site of more than 200 exhibitions since the 1970s. Dr. Christopher Brewardwas appointed director of collection and research at the National Galleries of Scotland in 2017. He was previously the principal of Edinburgh College of Art.
