As you will hear, the birth they planned did not go as planned. But strangely, it went more like they had wished it would be. That might not make much sense, but when you hear them explain it, it will. About Chip and Emily Simon-Straub Emily and her husband Chip are a married couple from Toledo, Ohio. Chip is an industrial electrician and Emily owns her own residential cleaning business. This is her first year home educating their two daughters; Imogene, 4 and Ingrid, 2. After giving birth to her first daughter naturally in 2015, and free-birthing her second, Emily became passionate about the natural birth world. She loves sharing birth stories and encouraging women to birth without fear.
